Pump/Filter Packages

Here is an example of a properly sized pre-packaged system. 

Note the large sand filter and properly sized 2 speed pump. 

Most likely adequate filter size depending on size of pool.  Pump may be oversized, You should investigate the pump curve and amperage draw of the motor. 

Don't let the power cord fool you, a plug in unit can still draw up to 12 amps of power.

Spiral tubing is a hydraulic restriction. Try to use the larger size if possible.
